University of Mostar is a higher education institution which organizes and performs university studies, scientific and professional work and develops highly skilled artistic and technological creation. It is one of eight public Universities in B&H and the only one with Croatian official language. The University is owned by cantons in which the Croatian people are dominant and municipalities with the Croatian majority in Herzegovina-Neretva and Central Bosnia cantons. It consists of 10 faculties and the Academy of Fine Arts. Today, over 16000 students study at the University of Mostar. The educational process is conducted through more than 60 study groups at the undergraduate and 30 groups at the graduate and postgraduate level. University of Mostar is internationally oriented and its intention is to become fully integrated into the European Higher Education Area. The University of Mostar established a QA office in 2006.
Role of SVEMO will be to set up working groups, nominate an officer for LL, and expert for career guidance. Institution will review working concept, and prepare presentation on LL activities. SVEMO will conduct surveying, prepare reports on LL potentials at institutional and national level, as well as a case study. Institution will participate in a workshop in Sarajevo. SVEMO will review the draft version of Regional guidelines and will develop national strategies, will participate in a round table, in a meeting in Osijek, and the final conference in Tirana. SVEMO will participate in teacher training, designing of pilot activities, courses' curricula, and their conduct. Institution will distribute and collect student questionnaires. SVEMO will participate in project management, creation of Interim and Final reports, and procurement of equipment.
